The consulting sessions and many consulting services are FREE. Available services may vary at each NBDC office location. Basic Start-up Package
Individuals needing assistance with starting a business or those who wish to investigate an idea they have starting a business will be given a package of business start-up materials to complete with guidance from an NBDC consultant.

Marketing Research
NBDC consultants conduct market research to help companies:

Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership
NBDC provides assistance to manufacturers through its partnership in the Nebraska Manufacturing Extension Partnership (Nebraska MEP). In this program NBDC (UNO) teams with the Engineering Extension (UNL), the Food Processing Center (UNL), and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development to provide assistance in employee training, 生产力, 技术, regulatory compliance, quality standards, 市场营销, business planning and feasibility analysis, workflow process, and supplier relationships.
