The Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) consultants are ready to assist your business recovery efforts.

The NBDC has put together some great resources for businesses affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and/or natural disasters such as flooding and winter storms.

The Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) has prepared a series of videos for businesses to gain insight and ideas on how to re-open, survive and thrive after COVID19 shut them down. Check out the series of videos released on June 9, 2020 at the link below.

*NEW UPDATE:

As of June 5, 2020, the President signed the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020, which made several enhancements to the very successful Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Businesses must contact a lender and apply by June 30, 2020. There will be new rules and guidance, a modified borrower application form, and a modified loan forgiveness application implementing these legislative amendments to the PPP. Read the PPP Flexibility Act news release effective June 5, 2020.

$2,000 to $5,550 Grants for Childcare Providers, the Deadline is Sept. 30, 2020

Nebraska businesses need their employees to have access to childcare. Although the grant information below is for family childcare homes, childcare centers, and private preschools, the following information could be shared with your employees who will then share it with their current or past childcare providers.

  • Childcare Stabilization Grants (for those currently open)
    • $3,500 for family childcare homes and private preschools
    • $5,550 for childcare centers
  • Incentive to Reopen Childcare Grants (for those committing to reopening)
    • $2,000 for family childcare homes and private preschools
    • $3,000 for childcare centers
  • CARES Act Childcare Stabilization Funds and Incentive to Reopen Childcare Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30, 2020. Fill out the application now.
